RueDuCommerce.fr, one of the biggest french online store, used phpMyVisites on its former news website, so, it's quite naturally we installed Piwik for its substitute : the High-Tech Mag.
The Piwik user interface is clean, fast, and show us essential information (that you can customize). The tool seduced us, so we deployed it over many other blogs : the "Mag Habitat" and the "Mag Mode et Beauté". It's tremendous to see the work made by the Piwik developement team. After a few more days with Piwik and now that the trackers are on all my pages of all my sites, i can tell you one thing that i really like about Piwik : It's really great that we have nothing special to do for it to register clicks on any file and externals links !

Piwik will be continued to be rolled out through the portfolio of sites (total about 18 million visits a year). Once Piwik has had a chance to settle down, I will write it up in our blog, and go public with the name of the site.

I like the idea of the API, I like the graphs, I like the possibility of the configurable dashboard and the widgets.
Maybe I can convince my IT guys to give Piwik a chance. This might give the chance to contribute a plugin, etc.

I personally have a bit of experience working with Ominute, Hitbox, and Google Analytics, and the idea of an open source alternative to these tools sounds very exciting. Across our network of sites, we average about 60m pageviews / month and growing, and I was wondering if that level of load is within the scope of Piwik, given the proper hardware to support it. I’d love to find a way to help the Piwik project get to the point where it could handle millions of pageviews / month.

I am looking at your product as we (as a CMS vendor) are often asked about integration to Web Analytics packages and I’d quite like to have a strong story with an open Web Analytics platform, especially for our demonstrations. Your product seems to fit the requirement, I am very attracted to your open API philosophy as our experience with Google, Ominture and Web Trends has been getting data out is a pain, if not impossible.

Piwik has become a fantastic tool for us at International Air Charter http://www.internationalaircharter.com, we have found it be very reliable and stable. A major consideration when choosing an piece of analytics software is the impact it will have on your websites load time, having your analytics software hosted on the same server removes a DNS look up required by others, and with search engines using website load time as a part of their algorithm, keeping your website fast is important.
