Piwik Mobile 1.9.1 with improved iOS 6 support

Piwik Mobile 1.9.1 is a follow up release to the recent 1.9 release, which includes the following changes:

• Support for iOS 6. Fixes the buttons beside the title are displayed too large.
• Added splash screen image for iPhone 5.
• Makes sure that only the existing Piwik translations can be used when fetching reports.

Please let us know if you still experience any issues with iOS 6 or iPhone 5.

Known issues

• Android: Some text fields have focus issues in “Add account screen” — you have to tap a textfield twice before updating its value.
• Android: If you open the app, the keyboard might be displayed seldom.

Piwik Mobile can now display hierarchical information

This is a new milestone as you can now dive in and explore all your data from reports like Custom Variables, Pages, Sites, Search Engines, Keywords and more. A picture says more than thousand words:

UI Optimizations

We are always working hard to make UI as simple and clean as possible. This time, you’ll notice the most changes in “Give Feedback” and “About Piwik Mobile” screen. Just have a look at the comparison:

For Android, we already made lots of improvements due to the Android Style Guide in previous versions and we will continue this work in the next versions. We have updated the look and feel ob Buttons, Textfields, Checkboxes and removed some icons that were no longer recommended by the style guide.

What’s new in Piwik 1.8.4?

NOTICE: This new version contains major database schema changes, so please be careful when running the Update script. On large Piwik setups (if your Piwik database is 100Mb size or more), make sure to run the Update Script from the Shell!

Piwik 1.8.2 and Piwik 1.8.1

Piwik 1.8.2 is a follow up of Piwik 1.8 release to fix a few non critical regressions introduced in the 1.8 version. To learn more about all the great new features in Piwik 1.8 check out this blog post entry.

After You Update

• Note that the SQL database User used by Piwik to connect to the Mysql database now requires LOCK privilege. Please grant LOCK privilege to the DB username used by Piwik, with a tool like phpMyAdmin.
