If you are working on Piwik at your job, you can sign this simple agreement with your company, to ensure your contributions will be under a compatible license, and can be used in Piwik.
This agreement is strictly between a developer and a client/employer, and is intended to protect the developer contributing code to the project. Since the Piwik project doesn’t require contributors to assign copyright, you don’t have to send us copies of this agreement.
Work Product Release Form
[FINAL, version 2010-09-05]
Goal
----
Piwik Project ("Piwik") contributors who have employment agreements,
work-for-hire contracts, or other agreements that govern their work
products, should have their employer agree to this Work Product
Release Form ("Release Form") to ensure that a Contribution to Piwik
has the employer's consent to license the Contribution under the GPL
or compatible license.
Non-Goals
---------
The Release Form is *not* a copyright assignment agreement.
The Release Form does *not* alter the licensing terms of third-party
Code or Content.
