New servers for piwik.org, and new sponsor!
Piwik.org is growing:
- 900 visits per day on average (from 300 three months ago),
- 100+ downloads per day
New servers for the website
The first servers we had were too slow to handle the load of the traffic generated by the website, the demo, and our build/development architecture. We were having downtimes due to crashes of the development server.
These problems are now fixed ! We upgraded our servers at the beginning of July. Everything is going smoothly since the migration. Please welcome victoria and henry!
New servers for tests and development
We are also very happy to receive help from Free a french ISP with more than 3 million customers. They are giving us a few servers to help us with the developments and performance tests. We created a new page Sponsors. If your company is interested by a sponsorship, please let us know.
These new servers will help us building a faster and scalable Piwik. Stay tuned: we will soon post updates about the current development efforts!

Puh, the project is not dead at all, it was paused for 1 month but is now back on track; development will go faster than before as I am now full time on the project, starting soon!
The best is to use the SVN version (it has google chrome recognition for example + lots of other bug fixes). You can use tortoisesvn on windows and load the SVN from http://dev.piwik.org/svn

It seems there is no change in Piwik, Piwik-Website, Piwik-Blog or anything else about Piwik thrue July/2008.
No update and an update should be because of recognition of Google Chrome.
Is there anyone working on Piwik or should I look out for another up-to-date tool?

Is this still under active development? I see few updates in the trunk, the website is not being updated since july..
We are deploying piwik on some of our websites, and although it looks very (!) promising, there is still a lot of room for improvement.
Please, give us an insight in the future of Piwik. :)

Hey izoel, try to reinstall it first. upload all the files again. search for the requested class. ‘Zend_Log_Writer_Stream’ must be there. otherwise it will not work. good luck!
