New Plugin: Wordpress Piwik integration
Wordpress is the most popular blogging software, and the one we use on piwik.org
There are two Wordpress plugins for Piwik
WP-Piwik is a Wordpress plugin created by André Bräkling that integrates Piwik stats in your Wordpress dashboard.
Piwik Analytics created by Jules, a dutch Piwik user, is a simple plugin to integrate Piwik in your Wordpress templates.

The Piwik Wordpress integration plugin features are:
- piwk.php and piwik.js location
- site ID setting
- options to control download tracking
- option to exclude the admin user (probably you)
If you want to participate and make the plugin better, we also have a trac ticket with some ideas.
We also hope that Jules can host his plugin on the official Wordpress plugins directory. That would give it more visibility.
See Piwik Wordpress plugin page on Jules' blog
Update: comments have been disabled on this post due to heavy spam. For any query about the Piwik Wordpress plugin, please contact the author on the official plugin page.

Thanks for the attention!
The inclusion of this plugin in the official wordpress plugin directory is pending approval, so I expect that pretty soon.
I hope to make this plugin better. Any feedback (positive or negative), bugreports, or patches are helpful and much appreciated.

for a long time i write the plugin WP-phpMyVisites - its a small plugin with no entry in the database of wordpress ans easy integartion if phpMyVisites or Piwik. I think this is a smaller form of integration in wordpress without database-entrys.

The plugin is now included in the wordpress.org svn plugin directory.
Check version 0.3 out at http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/piwik-analytics/

@Frank
I saw your plugin listed. Although I like the fact that it's very simple, it's not really easy to use and configure though the admin interface.

Does anyone know if there is a plugin/extension for Joomla? This will be very desirable considering a record shattering 500,000+ Joomla downloads per month

Hi,
Demo looks very good, I've installed the plugin and it's asking me for site ID. It may sound dumb, but I can't find that, please help.
Thanks,

Is it compatible with wordpress 2.7? I'm thinking of dumping my old wordpress stats widget for this one. Let's see how that goes.
