This looks very interesting and I am happy to start with the Beta version. I can not wait to get started with the Beta process to see this grow.

Have now installed this on all my sites and couldn’t be happier. Have some high trafffic online sports betting sites and a few racing related sites that get over 30,000 uniques a month and Piwik has been excellent so far.

Hi i have a doubt in piwik programming. I want to obtain a session value on the index page. During login i m puttin the username in session in ‘plugins/login/controller.php’. I want to display that session value on top of the page where current username comes from database, which is mentioned in index.tpl($userlogin). Can you tell me how i can obtain the session value in the .tpl file…thnx

(reply elsewhere says this is in the works, most definitely, not to worry–in case anyone else was looking for such information)

piwik is looking beautiful. Is there going to be an upgrade path from phpmyvisites? I would hate to lose all the data collected so far.

Incredible analytics system! I just migrated from phpmyvisites to Piwik: merci beaucoup!!

Also wanted to share an installation problem: received an “Exception thrown without a stack frame in Unknown on line 0.” I eventually found comment on a php.net post that pointed to an eAccelerator 0.9.5 bug and deinstalled it. Solved the problem.

frank, you must have a problem with your uploaded files. Try to reupload them again?

Momo, to update Piwik just upload the new files over the new ones.

Fore more safety, you can save your config/config.ini.php before, but it shouldn’t be overwritten anyway.
