re: PDO. Recent releases of Piwik have added support for the mysqli extension.

It could be a great tool, but really you have to realize that some host companies do not install PDO… so we can't all use Piwik. It's a pity because it really seems like a great tool. I then installed phpMyvisits on the web sites that don't support PDO and it's work like a charm. Too bad you drop casual MySQL connection support like in phpMyvisits.

I'm with AlterVista (best free Italian Hosting) and i don't have pdo_mysql.
Even i can't use (or test) piwik :(
Actually i continue to use php-stats (real old but already the best statistics script).

We are testing Piwik now. Is there a more detailed description of it somewhere? What is stored in the database, can we add parameters, how do we make new views etc?
